I bought this McCafé ground coffee at Walmart

It was Sunday night... I bought this coffee at the store for the first time, and some cookies which really are famous brand shortbread. This will come into focus and drinking the coffee will also help in that regard.

The big light over Walmart, umm... that's not an alien spaceship or supernova off somewheres, but if I drink enough coffee I can get way, way, way, way out THERE! and witness a two-star POW!!!! in the future. no. not me. And let's keep the big fireworks displays far from Earth. Right? Right!

more later... that was fun! We do need to find a time to not feel so upset about what's going on in the world and the coffee and cookies was a good time.

A recent post was a reference to what appears to be (more) lying in TV News these days and it's sad.

I do hope everyone will be OK and well. I'm feeling down about wars and people dying and then the News and journalists doing such a bad job of reporting in recent years. So I just prefer to relax more than spend much time nervous over what's going on in the world, though I do some of that worrying too. It is hard on the mind and stomach, etc. When can we see the leaders start to take some responsibility for their bad actions and stop wars rather than start more wars, huh? What's wrong with you people who were elected and some elected in perhaps a dishonest way?

This is serious and they need to improve or leave office.

Post titled "fun of fast food doesn't need philosophy" had a first sentence with "I can't say I'm driven by trying to win" and that had to do with fast food and what I've been reading about fast food, and my writing here, and it has nothing to do with the Super Bowl, though it was posted before the game today. I wish both teams the best.

Everyone wants to win? I can't say I'm driven by trying to win but certainly a lot of people are, and that's up to them.

Is money all that people care about these days? Being a modern-day amateur philosopher (though I'm not sure which ones are professional) is not any fun.

Oh, I figured it out, fun is what I'm interested in. There's not much fun in fast food lately. I'm not sure what my definition of 'lately' is but I suppose I mean the last few years, and I mean most of this decade.

I want going-out-for fast food to be fun like it used to be. Most of the time when I say (or write) I'm having fun, it's because I'm a big part of making my own fun. However... hmm or better yet how about Ha Ha However I'd like fast-food chains, brands, restaurants make me have fun, be happy, and feel good.

The old-fashioned marketing concepts aren't such a bad idea, or at least blended together with what all the modern marketing geniuses think will work. I'm kind of sad about what I see -- or rather what I don't see on the internet from the big fast-food companies. I did like some of the fast food commercials and a few of them appeared here.

Here, this blog is the definition of here. But I'll use HERE a lot in different ways. Yeah, I needed to point that out.

I know I'm going to mess up this philosopher gig... oh yeah right, it's only me writing but that's pretty good too. or bad, depending on whether I'm sad that half of the shake is gone or satisfied with the half I already drank, or ate, but I have a lot of plastic spoons from somewhere since they gave me one many times before... so what was I saying (writing) that I can't be a philosopher or at least not a famous one, but HERE I'm a little bit like a fast food philosopher, and I didn't hyphenate because I don't want to. I also wanted to end that last sentence and this one with to. But I'm off the point.

Fun is not having sex only, however, you know, a lot of girls I communicated with onlien (misspelled on purpose) seem to think that's what people mean by fun. The love story of the snowballs ended rather tragically (but was private), and well they would have melted anyway, but that did help me handle in my own mind the troubling hex some witches of world were trying to put on me regarding my happiness about the word 'fun'. I love fun.

Fun to me means going out for fast food (of course that's not all), but I had fun when it seemed happy and made us laugh. Some of the feminists verbally attacked the fast-food commercials that were sexy and I think most were meant to be funny and fun, but not harmful to anyone. The feminist type of 'serious' is ruining the world, but so are actual abusive types of people, terrorists, etc. We have to stand up to (against) that kind of behavior and stop it. But the fun in fast food makes us feel good when otherwise in society, often, there's not much to feel good or happy about.

I hope SPRING comes to the fast food business with a lot of FUN in the new foods on the menu and FUN and happy promotion of those foods and beverages. That would be great! Spring is a new beginning...

I like to be positive more than negative, so I'm not much of a philosopher.

I'm still going back over what happened last year. But I hope to go back, back, way back... I will have some pictures from during the time of Fast Food Yummy, and even the earlier fast food blog, also continue to be serious about iced coffee and shakes, with a goal of doing a shakes list.

Eggnog

This is the Lactaid Eggnog I mentioned near the end of 2014. That's the brand and I was glad I found it at the grocery store. I just looked at my notes this morning, and I wrote:

Pretty, Minty, Delicious Arby's Shake

Arby's Mint Chocolate Swirl Shake with Andes mint chocolate pieces.

This shake is delicious and also a very pretty shake.

We went to a restaurant for a Christmas buffet on Christmas Day, and right after that I wanted the Arby's shake but didn't have room in my stomach for it. I'm glad on Monday I was able to drink that shake and hope I do again.

Monday should be a holiday

On Monday, which was yesterday, I went to Arby's for a shake I wanted on Christmas Day, but I had no room in my stomach for it. I also wanted Lactaid Eggnog, like I saw at the grocery store one time, and a famous brand fruitcake which I don't think I've seen around this year. I wasn't able to find the fruitcake but did have the shake and eggnog... and liked both very much.

 The day before Thanksgiving, Scott couldn't wait.

                                        

Remembering the Days Before Thanksgiving... After Christmas

I went to the Nampa, Idaho Jack in the Box I go to regularly, in November, before Thanksgiving. I went to the drive-thru there. I ordered that strawberry shake (pictured).

I went to buy some groceries but couldn't find the kind of pie I wanted for a good price, so I didn't buy one. I made a pre-Thanksgiving meal of cooked cranberries, yams, and squash the day before Thanksgiving.

Before I went to Taco Bell, I wasn't feeling well because my stomach was bothering me, but I started feeling better after eating this food.

Love and Care

In the spirit of LOVE and the holidays, I just wanted to say I like everybody and everyone. We can't all win all the time in competition and sometimes we get too caught up in that and other things that don't matter that much compared to people, who matter much more than what we want and compete to get for ourselves. Try to tell someone something that will make them feel good or do something to show kindness because that really can help someone.

I was struggling and sad recently so it makes me realize other people probably are struggling or sad and I hope you feel better and I care about you.

My Holiday Comparison because of Love and to Continue Forever

Egg Nog Shake is THERE

I like it when the holiday shakes come back to the fast food restaurants. The last time I was over at McDonald's, I saw that they have the Egg Nog Shake there.  I decided to go into McDonald's this time. When I was sitting down, I could see that this shake is beautiful with kind of like thin layers of white and golden/light yellow color. That made me feel happy. This was a very thick shake. I like that it takes effort to drink it with a straw. I like this flavor and it's a great shake. 

For Dollie: We did this because we miss you

Piglet, look at this... it's one of our favorites. You love this ... it's Supreme Croissant from Jack in the Box. 

Mom said you can see us, so I hope you also see the Jack in the Box where I went many times to get this for us.

I hope this can be seen from heaven.

I will put more pictures on here from various times. As the star of this blog, Dolly "piglet" was funny because she loved food so much, and I miss her. 

Dollie was a cute and beautiful dog. But the Dolly who joined me for a snack in the late hours, one side or the other of midnight, was really a lover of food and same as me, part piggy. These are photos of her relaxing on the grass a couple of years ago.

Oh! There wasn't any food in this photo. Amazing!

Looking back at 2012 from tonight

This is brand new -- picture on Friday, October 17, 2014 -- and shows that I get stuff done fast, sometimes.

I was driving on this road a couple of minutes before the picture was taken and I was listening to "Take Care" by Drake, featuring Rihanna, playing on the radio. It had been quite a while since I heard this song when I was driving around in the dark. It's a great song. Drake is added to the Best Pop Singer of 2012 List and the number 1 Best Pop Singer will be decided from that list which can be seen on The Overcast Inside, my music reviews and lists blog.

Shake and then fireworks

I didn't have high expectations for the evening. In fact, I didn't have a specific plan after going to the grocery store -- where I didn't buy anything because someone walking around in the store appeared to be sick and trying really hard to give it to the other customers. I was very disappointed. (And believe it or not, it was one of those grocery stores where people shop for organic and other healthy foods.) With my mind pointing in the direction of returning for sleep, I started driving and also wanting to get a shake.

I am glad there's a Jack in the Box restaurant before I make a turn, and this shake really was worth going to the drive-thru, then turning around and going back and thinking about going in a store. I was about ready to get out of the car, when someone pointed up in the sky and I thought they were pointing over my car. Were spaced-out aliens from a spaced-out place up above me somewhere going to take me to a nicer place? No. 

But Yes, I really liked this shake.
