I took this picture last year but didn't post it at that time. It's among my favorites. I'll post more of them later. The above picture was cropped.

Spicy Sandwich

This is a spicy eggplant sandwich with Thai green curry, and a lot more. It's delicious! Making it took longer than pulling though the fast food drive-thru, but it was my dinner on Friday.

As seen in the picture, there are two portions on the plate. I will name the sandwich later. It's a half sandwich, known as an open-faced sandwich. Sorry I didn't draw a cute smiley face on it.

The first layer on the toast was lightly fried eggplant and sweet yellow pepper. It was cooked with a hot pepper, but I didn't put the hot pepper in sandwich. On top are thinly-sliced baby corn (a few left whole for picture) in coconut milk mixed with Thai green curry paste. I didn't make the curry paste, I bought it at an Asian grocery store.

There's more to write, but now I need something to eat. No. Every post doesn't end when I'm hungry. It only seems that way. haha

What I did on Saturday Night

Did you guess Arby's? Yeah! Then you are right!
I went to Arby's around 10 p.m. last night and
ordered Curly Fries and an Orange Cream Swirl Shake.
My guess is I will do it again, coz I did it before (see below picture).


I'm too busy to talk right now.
Just kidding.

Now that I'm done with this post, what am I going to eat for dessert?? Hmm... I think ice cream would be delicious, but so would part of a candy bar. Talk about tough decisions. Anyway, gotta go. Take care!

Falling in Tart with Love requires Lotsa 'Sugar'

The title is rather puzzling to me. I have no idea what it means except perhaps when the love is missing, more sugar can't hurt. Well don't overdo it, but adding a little sweetness to one's personality also is not a bad idea. Maybe I ought to take my own advice.

All I know is, "Falling in Love with Tart" (flavor), the title I thought of using before I moved the words around and added to them, would have been an exaggeration of my July obsession with black and red currants. Yeah, they are great when sweetened, and I especially like to eat them with yogurt.

Another potential title that I scrapped before publishing this entry was "Where's the Love in Logic?" And also: "Where's the Logic in Love?" I guess it's a guy thing, or just a me thing, not being able to understand relationships and why they fall apart.

The dessert (last time) was decorated, photographed and eaten a couple of days before the post. I decided to do this part ahead of time because I knew sadness would prevent me from getting much done on that day. While we no longer have an active romantic relationship, I do cherish the memories of our love which will remain in my heart and mind forever.

Currants

Red currants are tart and not very sweet. It depends on what you like to eat. Sometimes I enjoy eating a dessert with tart, tangy flavor. But of course sugar is needed or it wouldn't be very good. I like currants with sugar in sauce, syrup or jam. Be careful when eating because currants have seeds. Mom made currant jelly today and it doesn't have any seeds. Of course we didn't use the leaves or stems and lightly rinsed off the currants before cooking with them.

This is not a blog about cooking so I won't go into details. This is a blog about fast food. But I decided a post now and then about more natural foods would be a good idea to show people that I eat more than fried foods. haha

Waffles!!!

Yummy waffle with ice cream and currant syrup/topping!

This currant topping seems a little like cranberry sauce, though has its own flavor. Careful it has seeds! You should strain out the seeds if they bother you, and not bite down on them.

I made this syrup in a saucepan on the stove, using black and red currants, water and sugar, and the whole cooking process took about an hour... That's soy bacon on the side of the plate.
It's very tasty.

This waffle was on another day. It didn't have as many strawberries because I ate them earlier but it was still delicious.

Correction

This is just a short note which will only be up here temporarily. Sometimes I will run corrections, and the notice might appear for a week or two just to notify readers of some change to a post. I made a change to a past entry. As far as I can tell, birds did not hurt the red currants this year and so I don't know what happened to the red currants last year. I like birds and as strange is it may sound, I wish them a good summer.

This is a sweet carrot pudding, which I made two months ago when I washed more carrots than were needed to put in the Borshch. Both were delicious!

More than Cereal

Today began when I rolled out of bed. It was warm in bed, but there was no lady with her arms around me. Believe me. The room was just warm, that's all. So then, after spooning into my mouth a somewhat bland breakfast cereal, which I used to love and still like now and then, I began to think about blogging. Life sure can be boring. Anyway, I'm not letting boredom or computer viruses, adware and other annoyances get me down.

Hey, it's still warm in here. The air conditioner isn't working. But perhaps Paris Hilton being a hottie has something to do with it, too. I saw her pretty face on the Internet again today. She's everywhere it seems. Actually, and unbelievably, my mom wanted to know more about Paris, so being the good guy that I am, I looked Paris up on a web site that provides information on lots of stuff including celebrities. Some sort of computer virus or spyware got started at the same time. The anti-virus program didn't work so I had to restart the computer and lost the web page about Paris. And now I realize, I never really had her in the first place. haha

Been there, done that before. It always hurts no matter how many times it happens. Joking around helps me to not feel so sad.

Note: I currently have no love life. Chatting doesn't count. Sure, some people send kisses online, but unless lips are touching other lips, it's just a little better than a fantasy. I'm a guy. That's obvious. But I do have a sensitive side.

Right now, it would be funny to break into song. But my life isn't a musical. Maybe yours is? If we were singing together in the morning over our bowls of cereal--birds chirping in the background (sounds kinda corny)-- I'm thinking cereal eating wouldn't be quite so boring. Care to join me for cereal? haha Of course I'm joking. Better to start with ice cream.

This was written almost three days ago, when the air conditioner wasn't working. Thank goodness it is now. It's still hot outside in the afternoon. I went to A&W last evening and had a root beer shake. That's after mom and I went to Taco Time for burritos. Everything tasted great!

My mind is thinking about more sweets, such as Gajar Halwa and Dudhi Halwa, which are Indian desserts I've made before. Pics of halwa, cookies, waffles with ice cream and other desserts could be posted in the days or weeks to come.

In a related note, it was nice to find a blog about Indian actresses. Here's a gorgeous actress. Now I'm not thinking about food anymore. I guess that's obvious.

No, I never dated a famous actress, though maybe a couple of girlfriends were acting. So my only advice is: When you tell someone you love them, you should mean it. And if it's a person who likes many of the same things you do--great music, movies, fast food, etc.-- that's very, very cool!

Brand New McDonald's Restaurant

On Wednesday afternoon, I stopped at a brand new McDonald's

restaurant, located in the Nampa area. A young woman working there told me this was the first day. The iced mocha was great! I had a lot of fun.

Up Close and Personal Look at McDonald's 'Golden Arches'

What could this be? You tell me...



Now it's easy to see what it is. And I'm happy to write that this beautiful McDonald's in Boise, Idaho, with Golden Arches reminescent of the good-old days, is now one of my my favorite McDonald's locations. I had a Sausage McMuffin with Egg and iced coffee for breakfast, the first time I'd been there in a long time. For less than $5 US dollars, I got a tasty morning meal.

When I was a young kid, the 'Golden Arches' seemed like one of the tallest structures on Earth. I was small then. And yeah, I was full of French fries, which is my way of saying I didn't know much at that time.

I've grown up, though I don't always act like a 'grownup'... especially when I go to McDonald's for a snack or meal. Check out my silly expression in the picture below.



No, I was never a fast-food clown, although I do think Ronald McDonald is very cool! But you know what? At least one of my readers called me a clown. I know she meant I'm a funny guy! Didn't she? haha

Sometimes I joke around here and it might be difficult to guess what this blog really means to me. From the start, my main reason for writing and publishing this blog was 'love'. I am not nor have I ever been a romance writer, but I know one thing: I love N. It's the initial of the person I started a relationship with three years ago. N and I loved to go out to eat fast food during my stay in Thailand. Our fast food experiences together were wonderful.

N. wrote some great articles for Fast Food Yummy and was very supportive of me and my blog. Thank you, N. We dreamed of having a pink salon shop and a blue coffee shop. I still wish we could someday. haha Really, I'm crying... If this is the last time you read this N, please know how much I care about you. Both on the inside and outside, N, you are a beautiful person. Our relationship was the most important blessing in my life.

When we would pray on the phone, at the end our conversation, we used to ask God and Buddha to take care of us. I was taken care of and blessed to have been in such a sweet, caring relationship with you.

Real Guy, from Earth

On a good day, the webcam makes me look OK!

I took this photo with my webcam in November. Maybe I will keep it at the top of the blog for a while, so people know I'm a real person, from this galaxy and this planet. haha (But would you know a being from another planet if you saw one? I would. They could eat all the foods we do, but wouldn't gain any weight. Ohh, I am sooo jealous, I wanna be a space alien! haha... Cool!!! But if any space aliens are reading this?? I'm joking. Seriously, there are times when I can't be serious. So please don't turn me into one of you. Coz the downside sucks! (No, forget that last thing I said, Mr. Alien, sir.) I'm really OK with being who I am, sort of an average human being, as long as I don't run out of coffee and there's something sweet, like a donut, cookie or ice cream, every 24 hours or so.

If we did eat the whole thing in one sitting, we would have to work it off... you know how, hmmm... by blogging together, or something. Does anyone know how many calories blogging burns off per hour? I've lost weight but doubt that blogging had anything to do with it.

I almost forgot to bring up the topic of kissing. Ok, use your imagination. I think it would be almost as yummy as strawberries and ice cream. Your thoughts on the subject? Don't worry. You can just think about it. haha

Funny Moments Without Too Much Fiction, Zero is the Price of Admission

This is Friday night and most people are feeling good. For some reason, however, I don't have anything funny to write about, though I will manage to come up with something. This is an opportunity for me to show how real I am. Dolly, the cute black dog, also is very real. Sometimes too real. haha

Let's begin with a list of words we don't like, stringing them together in one sentence in order to get past it as quickly as possible. Are you ready? We can't stand divorce, dog food, cavities, the word "NO" (in some instances), dating, waiting, and everything that's 'frustrating'... Ok now, I did 'go through' that first one a long time ago. Dolly was unhappy about what those other two nasty words stand for, more times than she can count. Yeah, you're right she can't count, but I thought that would be a clever line.

These days she doesn't like dog food unless there's yummy food people eat mixed in, or even better on top, coz then she has an easier time avoiding the dog food. Cavities? Uh, none this time. I brush and floss like most people, but I still eat candy, cookies and a bunch of yummy foods that the dentist doesn't need to know I eat. haha


Unripe currants

Dolly doesn't like the word "NO". This is the truth: Already this year I've spotted her in the garden, digging holes and told her to stop. She just sort of looked around pretending she didn't hear me. Yes, she is very intelligent. The last post was flavored with quite a bit of humor. But it it is true that Dolly has in past years eaten fruit off the ground, including little plums and apples. The fruit isn't ripe yet. Last summer, I made currant syrup using fresh red currants but didn't have many of them, although there were plenty of black currants.

Did I forget any words on my 'don't like' list? Oh yeah... dating, waiting and frustrating. Yep! Dating does involve too much waiting for love, then sometimes love can disappear and that really hurts. Sadness and frustration can be the result. It's a good thing Dolly doesn't have to worry about the male of her species, coz she's been... well, I should be polite here and tell a fib: she's chosen not to have children. haha (Ok, she can't have puppies.) Anyway, it's too much of an added responsibility, given all her current 'duties', pestering us for pizza, whining for pie and generally craving all the foods that people love.

Humor is one way to get through tough times. My goal is to provide people with a unique blend of fast food opinion and entertainment.

However, if you are going through a difficult stretch in your life, for example caused by the loss of a relationship which I can relate to, I do hope you will find happiness and know that there are people, like me, who care.

Coz Change (In My Car) is Not Always Inevitable When I'm in a Fast Food Mood

Did you know it's possible to order just one French Toast Stick at Jack in the Box? I never thought about that until yesterday, when I pulled up to the drive-thru menu and said to the gal taking the order that I'd like one of the Blueberry French Toast Sticks. I meant an order of (four) sticks and she wasn't sure if I meant one stick or one order. Glad she asked me if what I really wanted was an order of french toast sticks for $1.69, a great value, which comes with a little container of maple syrup to dip the french toast sticks in.

Yeah, you could order a single stick for only 50 cents. She said that's popular, often requested by families with kids or customers that only want one. And, I was thinking, people on diets. Actually, I ate less than two and shared the rest.

It was a rainy afternoon, with clouds blocking the suns' rays most of the day. Before getting my late afternoon snack, I went to the store which was uneventful to say the least. School's out and shopping chaos appears to be the new form of summer vacation with gasoline prices so high. I would write 'haha' after sentences where you are supposed to laugh but today I'm too tired. You can figure out the correct response for yourself.

Before supermarket hell could temporarily destroy my peace of mind, I did a little research at McDonald's, which revealed that there's not just one explanation by service crew for the change in iced coffee sizes. At the first McDonald's location, I asked in the drive-thru about the sizes and the girl there said the sizes are larger now. I didn't buy the drink there but chose instead to try the other one. At the second McDonald's location I went to, I ordered at the counter and asked to see the cups. The cashier showed me the cups and told me that last year's medium is now called 'large' now and large is 'extra large'. When I was there in May, they did not have iced coffee on the big menu board on the wall behind the counter. They still don't have iced coffee on that menu.

What else is there to mention? I forgot to write about Cold Stone Creamery closing in Ontario some months ago. That was a sad moment for those of us who love their ice cream.

On Sunday, I drove to Nampa, Idaho, not to go to Cold Stone, but when I drove near the store, the ice-cream temptation was more than I could resist. It seems as though the prices have gone up and they gave me less ice cream than before. I ordered "Love It", which is medium size. I asked the gal to mix peanut butter and coffee ice cream and add some white chocolate chips.

The ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery, from my past experiences, is filled to well over the top of the dish. This time it was below the top, starting to melt when she handed it to me and the ice cream was not as yummy as before!

I still love their ice cream, but this clearly was nothing to write home, or overseas, about. Since there's no longer a Cold Stone store in town, I will stop by Baskin-Robbins this summer. You can be sure I'll buy ice cream at the local grocery stores, too. Maybe I'll write about my favorite ice cream brands and flavors as well as have a more links to ice-cream eating happiness on planet Earth.

Before I totally forget, Sunday's fast-food snacking wasn't finished until I had a big smile on my face. I went to Carl's Jr. in Nampa and ordered Crisscut Fries, which was on my list of favorite fast foods. I ate about half of them (well alright, more than half) with House Dressing. These are the waffle fries that taste great and are fun to eat! If I decide to have a list of only fast foods in America, you can be sure they will be near the top. Wow! I gotta go! Gettin' hungry again. Change is inevitable; just wish there was more of it in the car for the next time I'm in a fast food mood. Ok, I will write hahaha. Coz three ha's are better than two. Bye.

Three Years

When you love someone, it's important to tell that person your feelings because love is more important than anything else in the world. I love you, Nith! I've experienced much happiness with you as my gf and sweetheart. You are very special to me. Thank you so much for loving me. Wishing Pies Grew On Trees

Dolly: I see a tiny piece of the pie, but aren't McDonald's little
apple and cherry pies 2 for $1 where he bought them? Why doesn't he show me both pies? It's because he's a cheapskate. I'll bet he doesn't even open the door for all the OTHER pretty girls.


Dolly: He didn't even have to tell me to smile. I threw that
in for free, unlike those beeeautiful supper models. (Dolly,
they are supermodels, not supper models. haha)

Dolly: You know what, if I can get that little pie box away from him, I'll check to see if there's a pie tree in there. That way I won't have to settle for apples, plums and whatever else falls on the ground.


Dolly: If he doesn't give me that piece of pie in a few minutes,
I plan to hold a protest on the front lawn. Which means I suppose
I gotta make up with the squirrels if I want them to hold PICK IT
signs. We are gonna pick all them fruit trees and get mom to make us a few hundred dozen fruit pies. Then, after we are all full of pie, I'm going to REALLY dig lotsa holes in the garden, so we can plant some of them trees that have fruit pies on them.

That's great, Dolly! Actually at one time McDonald's had TV commercials about a fairytale-like place called McDonaldland. In this commercial, Ronald McDonald gives two kids a mini tour to see "apple pie trees" and lotsa other cool things. I found the video on YouTube, which I'm sure readers will find interesting. My take on the commercial is: I wish we never had to cook any meals, and that all the food grew that way. That would be cool! If burgers grew on plants, it would sort of confuse vegetarians, I think. Maybe they would be soy burgers, which I eat all the time. They are delicious with a slice of melted cheese on top.

What if a Fast Food Outlet opened in your Backyard?

Well, I'm back again. Now it seems to me I drank that mixture of Coca-Cola and Fanta Strawberry more than once this month.

Since then, I ate fried chicken from KFC and French fries from A&W, which are together in one fast-food restaurant. That's pretty darn cool if you ask me.

We all like fried chicken and fries, and the lovely dog-princess Dolly is a big fan of fast food. It's ok that she's a fan, just not a BIG fan. haha

I'm not sure what Dolly really thinks about on a daily basis, but my educated guess is she would like a famous fast-food franchise to open in the backyard. I don't know. I think there's a law against it and also the fact that the marketing battle about location being everything didn't have canine customers in mind. haha

Let's change the subject shall we. Ok, write more about Dolly? Hmmm, alright... she does like to eat fruit when it falls to the ground, or if she can reach it on the branches of the fruit trees. But she prefers fruit pies to the fresh fruit. More on this important topic next time.

Mixing Fountain Drinks is Fun!

I love mixed fountain drinks. My all-time favorite is about half Dr Pepper and half Diet Coke. Fanta Orange was one of my favorite sodas during the past couple years because it really quenches the thirst on hot summer afternoons. Orange was better by itself, whereas the strawberry pop is best mixed because otherwise it seems too sweet. That's just my opinion. They are all quite tasty. In this photo which I took last week, the flash brought out the red color of the strawberry soda. That's basically how it looked to me when I was drinking it.

Fast Food and Hot Chicks are all over the Internet

Disclaimer: This post probably isn't suitable for minors and it also might not be suitable for people between the ages of 40 and 101, my Grandma's age; or for married guys, coz your wives probably don't want you reading my blog. Heck, this blog just plain isn't suitable. Period. But to those of you who enjoy it, I thank you. I think it's especially fitting for unmarried adults who are bored on the weekends, or whenever, and have nothing better to do. But there's no doubt it is suitable for those individuals looking over their old disco suits and wondering whether life has passed them by.

Looking around the Internet, I was able to find many people having fun eating fast food. Let's see what's going on out there...

At a McDonald's in Japan, ice cream and a pretty smile really go together. In another McDonald's location far away, it looks as though fast food can make a fashion statement, but I can't verify it. And, for your information, I wear faded jeans.

I've said one day I will go to Japan, and hope to stay much more than one day. So far I've only been to the airport on the way to or from another country. Japanese foods, sightseeing, and err... hottie watching would be on my list of things to do.

And I would have liked to eat the biggest muffin breakfast sandwich I've seen to date, from McDonald's. Where else? Speaking of a date, who would you choose to share a giant sandwich with? I'm not saying Paris Hilton would be my first choice, but she did look totally beautiful eating that huge burger in the Carl's Jr. commercial. (I'm still looking for cool links, but I like Paris so I will do my best to show her respect.) So what the heck, I'd choose... the Japanese version of her... Is there one? Pretty, sexy, skinny and looks like she couldn't take two bites of a burger, leaving the rest for me... hahaha. Alright, my eyes and mind are no longer on the burger.

But food first.

Since many of you are hamburger connoisseurs, and know your local fast food joints, we ought to see what's cooking there. Perhaps they have perfected the burger in the Philippines. This one looks so delicious!

There's nothing quite like hanging out with friends and eating fast food, for example at a KFC in Thailand, where these cute ladyboys seem to be having a great time.

When I visited Thailand, we went out to eat fast food almost every day because the apartment didn't have a kitchen. Never had I seen so many 7-Eleven stores. Uhh yeah, and never did convenience stores see my face so often. Gosh, maybe they would even remember who I am.

Another place that would be neat to visit is Taiwan, coz they also have some very hot chicks there. Not just when it's hot outside. haha (Now I'm no longer talking 'bout chicken. Male readers know where I'm heading...) Actually, let me rephrase the last sentence: In Taiwan there must be lots of pretty girls in their 20's, but if you spot one you might like to be friends with, the question is does she eat fast food? Ok, it doesn't matter coz she is gorgeous beyond description... And yeah, you are right. I shouldn't always be thinking about my stomach. Also, I better not forget to put on cologne before stepping off the airplane. (More fiction.)

Then after smiling, a sufficient amount of cordial behavior, including the requisite firm, yet friendly handshake, saving hugs for private moments (like my dreams) I will suggest a trip to the nearest burger joint so we can get acquainted. Yes, I am a nerd until the end of time. After that, I have no idea what will happen. My guess is I won't be a nerd anymore but my guess is that heaven won't be full of single, available, interested gals, either. That part sounds too much like Earth. LOL I hope there are burgers and fries, ice cream, and some other yummy foods up there! Then I can blog it, with lots of really cool links.

It's a 'Mom-made' dessert which I look forward to eating each spring, then again in the summer and whenever else it's available. This isn't a recent photo, though I did finish off the last piece of such a pie a couple of days ago.

What I liked about this Americano more than the others was the great coffee flavor and aroma yet not bitter like some others. Love should be that way too.

It was the same day my parents had their anniversary party. Talk about a nice coincidence. I probably should have eaten a sandwich, but gave in to the urge for an espresso. Sure glad I did.

Sorbenots beat out the the coffee competition on that single coffee shop stop, including world-famous Starbucks which in my opinion did make the most tasty Americanos last year than the others. So, the coffee buzz does go both ways, they serve up great coffee and people are talking about Starbucks.

As an important note, McDonald's iced coffee with the hazelnut flavor was my choice for best coffee of all last year. My only problem is deciding which McDonald's store made the best iced coffee. I'll figure it out and get back to you on that one.

Blog Dog of the Universe

Dolly is a blogging Beauty! It's a fairytale of sorts.

Well, I do the writing and she just looks cute and acts like a piggy when given the opportunity.

In the future, we might turn Dolly's food fantasy into some real mindbending science fiction, where Dolly travels all around the universe and samples food on every planet. I'm afraid to think how big she will grow to be. But we will rake in the burgers and fries (code words for big bucks, coz Dolly prefers to communicate in the language of food) when the trilogy is finished showing to audiences all over this planet.

And another thing, it's "Fast Food Yummy" coz it's the "Yummy" feeling (heck, this is my blog, it's a feeling) you get which only comes from eating great tasting fast food. Not the lousy stuff of course. We love readers of this blog (thanks), well Dolly does if you've got some food for her. lol Really she is such a friendly and kind dog.

Burritos taste best when my love life sucks

Taco Bell's burritos are a fun, tasty meal or snack,
especially in times when I'm also hungry for love.

This digital photo, which I took four or five months ago, was not altered or edited. I did have some leftlovers because being on a diet, I can't eat much in one meal. When I lived alone in a little apartment years ago (probably will again in the future) bean burritos from Taco Bell were my choice because I could usually find enough change in the car to order them.

Now my mind has gone blank. Maybe I'm hungry. Anyway, I wrote some comments about why gals say they will pay for what they order, but then I decided it probably wasn't good for me to write they only do that because they don't want to feel obligated to kiss guys good night. Uhh oops! Let's change the subject.

I know I can find more coins under the seat of the car to buy burritos for my beautiful date too. Nevermind the kisses. I'll just imagine them. haha Maybe the 'lonely-guy' apartment is still waiting for me. Sure hope no females read this post. Oh well, maybe they will feel sorry for me. That's what this blog writer needs, sympathy kisses. I might even tell a lady she can pay for her own meal. So she can be in control. See what a nice guy I am. Yup. I do see lots of burritos in my future. And they are going to taste great!

Bad News: Small Town McDonald's Closes; Good News: There are Two More McDonald's Restaurants in Town

This evening, when I went to the local Wal-Mart, I found a big empty space where the small McDonald's restaurant had been for years, up until less than a week ago. Hard to believe it was gone, after all the fun times eating or getting a cold drink there, like last summer when McD's iced coffee was my favorite way to cool off.

This McDonald's restaurant, one of three in town, was not always perfect, as the service was slow at times and the other two offered more foods on the menu. But in the morning this was a great hangout, when it was quiet and the tables were clean.

Please Note: This is just my terrible headache update, plus a couple of tidbits of info. and some humor. The facts: I woke up with an awful headache, it got worse as the day wore on and after a nap, as I type this evening, it's not much better.

I will try to laugh it away. Nothing else worked, including food, medicine, a cold, wet towel on my forehead, green tea and walking around inside and outside.

It was so cold I couldn't stay out long. Back at the computer, I began to watch the blogs being updated on "Blogger.com", which is a cheap form of entertainment. Staring at the screen sort of makes me feel like a funny character in one of those absurd sitcom episodes.

Once in a while there's a food blog. But not too much on the fast food scene. However, there's a pizza blog that seems to be advertising Domino's Pizza. I just found that to be interesting and didn't know that fast foods could have their own blogs on Blogger.

Although I do know this (ok, I made this part up): If Dolly, the cute black dog and sometimes unofficial mascot of Fast Food Yummy, could read and have her own blog (still gotta teach her how to), my guess is the pizza blog would be in her blogroll, along with blogs about other foods. Of course this is all off the record, hush-hush gossip about a dog who's supposed to be on a strict diet and also might have dreams of becoming a supermodel. Yeah, she dreams a lot coz she sleeps a lot.

Anyway, last time I wrote that beautiful bloggers of Singapore might know how to improve my hairstyle in the photo. I didn't mean that I wanted them to run their fingers through my hair, but it does sound like a lot of fun. Clean fun! This blog is about clean fun! LOL

What's more, all over this world there are beautiful women (sounds like a speech), many of whom are very intelligent, kind and outstanding writers with blogs. That's great! My headache is almost gone. Thank God! I wish you all the best. Take care.

Hello! I'm having a lot of fun today. It is Grandma's birthday, and she is ONLY... well, I'll let the b-day cake reveal her age. If someone wants to blame the cake for gossiping about Grandma, they are going to look even sillier than I do, having joked that anyone could think such a thing.

Grandmother liked hamburgers from when she was a young woman, which was before fast food became popular. A time long ago, when Americans busied themselves with the primitive task of cooking. (I believe now is the moment I should remind you to smile:)

Her favorite fast foods also included fried chicken, chicken sandwiches, and roast beef sandwiches. Over several decades, she has also enjoyed ice cream. I hope she enjoys ice cream--and a happy, healthy life--for many years to come. Love you, Grandma!

Today, blogging from the Heart

Some people seem to think I'm just a nice guy, who never gets hurt or offended by cutting remarks. But some words can be painful. I've noticed on the Internet there are all kinds of people. No, I'm NOT talking about where they are from, or anything like that... I'm talking about how they treat others. Most people are kind and considerate. But I've encountered a few who don't respect other bloggers.

Most of us know a few individuals in our lives who say bad things about what we care about, and that can really make some times miserable. So, we should all love one another and be nice to each other.

This blog is where I write about fast food, but it's not only about food. It's about me, too. I don't work for any food companies/chains, nor do I speak for them at all. I have no biases other than the pursuit of yummy fast foods.

It's just a lot of fun. The reason I started this blog is because my friend in Thailand gave me inspiration to write and remember our happy times together, which included going out to fast food places. I love my friend so much and I just wanted to say that here.

My goal is to post the rest of my Favorite 50 Fast Foods (and beverages), which has taken longer than I expected due to my difficulty in limiting the list to ONLY fifty. Yeah, I'm sure I could come up with 100, but that would lack originality and be boring, too.

It seems I've digressed quite a bit in this post. Getting back to what I was saying in the opening paragraph: It's important to show people we care about them. Forget about trying to show someone that you know more than they do. Also, don't tell them what they care about isn't important or doesn't matter. Instead, think of some kind words to cheer someone up. I'm guessing they will really appreciate it. Take care and have a great day!

Good Morning, Sandwich!

I took these digital pictures one morning last year, after picking up a Bruschetta Chicken Ciabatta at Jack in the Box and getting an iced espresso drink at a local coffee shop. The drive-thru was a terrific choice both times, as I wanted to get back here and eat.

Check out the lettuce, cheese and mayo spilling out of this sandwich. I really liked it. Another time I was in the Jack in the Box drive-thru, they told me the chicken is grilled has bruschetta sauce and it's provolone cheese in the sandwich. I had it more than once and could taste a basil or herb flavor, which made it better than an ordinary sandwich.

Maybe I'll do lunch in the morning again sometime, or just eat the sandwich whenever I'm hungry and near Jack in the Box. I haven't been out to a fast food joint in a while, and hardly at all this year. So hopefully March will be a good month for fast food.
