Thought I would be late getting there but I had plenty of time to look around and buy the two CDs which I wrote about in the previous posts. This picture was taken after I was done shopping and had gone outside.

Beautiful Rocking Metal
I was glad to find that the Record Exchange still had the CD I'd called about -- "Clinic For Dolls" by UnSun --while other stores I contacted earlier hadn't even heard of them.
"Clinic For Dolls" is a powerful, enchanting blend of rocking Gothic metal and beautiful singing by their female vocalist who, in my opinion, made UnSun a serious contender for best band of the year in 2010 in rock and rock/metal. Foo Fighters' new album was released last week and it's also great!

McCafe Chocolate Banana Shake
At McDonald's, I decided to order the McCafe Banana Chocolate Shake, and I'm sure glad I did. It was very sweet, smooth, and delicious! Also, this shake was cold, not runny, and just right because it was only a slightly thick shake and I could drink it with a straw.
It was Thursday after the usual dinner time for most people, shortly after I bought the two CDs. I didn't eat a meal at McDonald's because I wasn't hungry for a lot of food, and you understand, to write about many fast foods & drinks, I must go to many places and taste those foods and drinks. My plan was to try some menu choices from other fast food restaurants.
However, I can say that I really like this particular McDonald's restaurant, and I've written about it before for this blog. I didn't dine in this time, and instead went to the drive-thru because I wanted to go some other places. Let me add that this was a very satisfying shake because it was smooth and easy on my stomach, and a good choice for me. I decided not to drink coffee for two weeks and also be careful about the foods I'm eating, so a little later I tried a smoothie at another fast food restaurant, and really liked it.

A better look at me in pink
I'm going to show off my pink shirt because it's spring and I hope a pretty girl picks me by mistake, thinking I'm a flower.
Sorry for not having Foo Fighters posters behind me this time, so ladies you'll just have to settle for me. Yes, I am the kind they settle for. (joking)
The Foos are cool and a great band, but after buying their new CD, I needed to go in search of food or something to drink.
Outside n' Rockin' Inside
After buying two CDs, I went outside and decided to snap some pictures and here is one of them. Click it and you'll see promo posters -- with the band members and some words about their new album/CD -- in the window of the record store. I bought that new CD and another one and hope to listen to them tonight and on Saturday.

Malibu Chicken
Malibu Chicken at Sizzler was my Grandma's favorite. My family and I went there many times to celebrate birthdays and on other occasions. Three of us, my mom, dad, and I celebrated Grandma's birthday Monday although she passed away about two years ago. I ate Double Malibu Chicken (photo below) in honor of her on her birthday. Who knows, maybe she can somehow sense how much we miss her. It's coming up on two years since she passed away. Our memories and love for her will always be very important to us.

Getting a Feel good
After having been sick and feeling lousy a week ago, and recovering by drinking water and eating a lot of chicken noodle soup and broth with crackers, I wanted a soda that wouldn't be hard on my stomach and that's why I decided on Fanta Strawberry. Besides, I lift 12 packs of soda enough and -- you know... I'll be back.
Love the Strawberry flavor

Oreo in Oregon
This is the Oreo shake from Burger West in Ontario, OR and it was a pretty good shake, and a coping mechanism to deal with the fantasy overdose of thinking about being in a tropical paradise. But I don't want to cope for the moment (which is very, very, very long moment indeed), I prefer an unreal relationship, so I bought a bikinis poster at Kmart. You know, just because I believe in supporting our 'local' stores. I'm going to try to read this backwards and maybe it's funnier that way. Could be, could be.
The 'S' word for today is "Shake"
I needed to cool myself off after writing about you know who earlier today (see previous post, below), so I went for a shake to a town where I rarely see pretty girls. That sure brings me back to reality fast.
Thank goodness one 'S' word does exist around here and that is "shake" but I don't mean boogieing down in any manner of speaking.
This is Burger West (or let's just allow all caps "BURGER WEST") and while I didn't order the "RANCH HAND WITH FRYS", I later read over at the "I love Burger West!!!!!!!!!"Facebook public group that this is one of the main cravings of customers at this fast food joint.
My choice was the Oreo shake (pictured) and look at the above photo for a better camera angle which shows how the top of the shake appeared after I lifted up the lid. The photo was cropped because some guy walked out and was in the corner of it and that happens sometimes.
Paris Hilton car wash video
This is not necessarily for anyone under 18 (although I didn't see words saying that under the video and I didn't post or upload this video to YouTube, I have no connection to Carl's Jr. and sad to say, no connection to Paris, although I sure would like to go there sometime... haha), also this is not for the anti-burger crowd because I don't want to be blamed for converting anyone to eating burgers and I don't eat burgers often but it's a choice (you know just like being a church lady who doesn't like guys who like pretty girls, err... I meant pretty big burgers, which goes double for the anti-swimsuit and anti-bikini mob who wants to turn a man and his many desires into a cold, unfeeling robot. And just when you thought the last sentence would put you right to sleep, this isn't for anyone who is just plain 'anti'... so anyway, why are so many beings being 'anti'? I have no idea. Maybe if I get struck by holy or unholy lightning I will just do a simple link with words something like a very yummy girl, I mean burger commercial.
I do joke around here but feel this was a great commercial! It doesn't hurt anyone except those who ate too many burgers and gained weight. But this also makes me want to go to a beach and chase pretty girls, or of course just go walking on the beach and lose weight that way.
Note: I did not write the title or post/upload the video to YouTube. I have no known serious or money connection to Carl's Jr. or Paris Hilton. Oh yeah, dammit! Next time I fall asleep I'll attempt to make that connection to her. haha

Waiting
Down to Everything
People may be wondering what is going on here these days. I don't know. Just gotta say life is tough and I'm down to everything. Yeah, that's classic me. I'm not down to nothing, I'm down to everything. I could write some damn poetry but what, do I look like Emily Dickinson to you? Don't I wish. Yeah, she was the greatest poet ever. I'm right about that too.
Soothing and yummy Thai Iced Tea
This is a Thai Iced Tea from Sa-wad-dee Thai Restaurant in Meridian, Idaho. It was the only way I could think of to soothe my stomach after I ate a very hot and spicy Thai green curry and rice. At first I didn't think I would need it so I drove off and got some more money from the teller machine, but I returned to the restaurant and bought the tea to make me feel better. I stirred the tea before taking this picture because I was in a hurry to start drinking it, and I sipped it before realizing maybe I should take a picture to show people how good it looks. Maybe next time I'll have a picture of how it looks the way they served it to me. I liked it a lot and it kept me from, shall I say shooting off like a rocket into space due to so much hot food inside me. Okay, that's not really possible, but you get the point.

We must have Freedom for all people
I don't think they allow this in Iran. Not yet anyway... a very sexy commercial, well I'll put the link to it in the next post. But first let me say this...My idea for dictators is make them serve potators, I mean french fries and burgers for like the next 20 years to life, after they step down that is, then they will know what it means to be a public servant.
Seriously, yeah it's time for freedom and it always was! Be careful, be safe, but keep demanding freedom, wherever you live! I wish everyone the best in their lives.
Next time I'll post the link to Paris as fast as fast food commercials can get me excited... to eat fast food, of course. haha
Note: I don't think 'potators' is an English word but it sounded funny.

Because taking a J-idol in a maid's costume on a cruise could be almost as much fun as letting Jeannie out of her bottle
Well, like I said before, it would be fun to take a pretty and cute model, or any gal who always dreamed of being a model in a maid's costume somewhere romantic for a happy time.
A cruise comes to mind, and I got the idea from one of my favorite rock songs. It's a great song and I will write seriously about the song on my music blog.
I can't take a real maid, or housekeeper like the TV character Alice on The Brady Bunch although I'm sure they are nice, but I don't wanna have to say something like... "Honey, kids, Alice, everyone pack your bags, coz we're going on a cruise."
I'll leave that to Mr. Brady because I'm not a father or father-figure, and actually I looked up to Greg, as much as a kid watching a TV show could look up to an actor playing a teenager in a sitcom family (yeah man, like that!), and I was 'wild about' Marcia because she is a "real groovy chick", and at times I was slightly annoyed by Cindy and Bobby. So I was glad they were just characters. Now who were those kids in the middle?... oh whatever!, because after all it's always about "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!!!"... nah, I know who they are but it's not funny to know.
Then of course, there's Yuko Ogura, the Japanese idol (not in The Brady Bunch, though that would have made The Brady Bunch better, but she wasn't born yet.) You know what, she's funny in a very charming way, cute as (meow! meow!) the Hello Kitty...Come to think of it, are they related? No, I'm just joking. Also, I've never seen them together. So you know...well, sometimes cats are girls in disguise, as I learned at an early age while watching this episode of Star Trek with a black cat turning into a way too sexy lady. She is so hot she makes me melt every time, and in the cute way, there's the effect of Yuko, and of course Marcia, Marcia, Marcia, but it does become rather annoying to think of her that way each time. I was younger than Marcia when I fell for her so it was just a small crush.
However, back to Yuko and the Japanese idols and other female idols everywhere, especially on Earth... after I count all my favorite female idols the number is somewhere around 335,223 favorites. But I can't take 335,223 on a cruise now can I, because the ship would sink. Well, this clearly wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, it was awful, but thanks to editing I survived. I'm done! For now...
No wait! Just like Major Nelson, I got too tired to notice how beautiful Jeannie is. Not really! And if I'd only been 20 years older back then, she would have been mine, all mine!

I'm chicken if I am what I eat, but Miley just scared the chicken out of me
Fried chicken from KFC is good anytime and anywhere.
On a separate note, Pamela Anderson was chosen as PETA's Person of the Year for 2010. Congratulations! I like her and hope to see more of her on TV like before, but I don't watch much TV, so I'll just think about her.
This is to take nothing away from her, but I would have chosen Miley Cyrus as person of the year, or at least the person who almost turns me off on eating chicken. Well, there is, you know, that video with Miley strutting around in feathers. The scary part is she either is or almost is eagle, umm I mean legal. What videos can we expect from her now?! Okay don't think too much about this if you need some rest. I'm done with this topic.
Actually, I did support her, by buying one of her CDs in 2009 and sending it as a present for the birthdays of my nieces who actually are my friends daughters. Although, let it be known, if they ever become singers or musicians, I hope they turn out more like Stereolab, whose CD I gave them earlier. And then there's Tokio Hotel, but don't ask me what kind of bird that is on Bill Kaulitz's shoulder in a commercial -- with Alice Cooper? The bird is a jerk and I do think Bill is good vocalist. And the song "Monsoon" by Tokio Hotel did get in my 100 Best Rock Songs List. When I started typing a little while ago, I had absolutely no idea the post would end this way. (Well, it didn't as it turns out.)
I already knew I'd mention someone else but didn't know he had passed away. Don Van Vliet died in December. Van Vliet was a rock musician, singer-songwriter, and accomplished artist and known to rock fans as Captain Beefheart. He and his band made outstanding experimental rock music!
We miss you! You made a real difference in our lives. Thank You! And yes, I am sad and have tears in my eyes. Take care!

I'm serious quite often... but honestly it does get in the way of being funny
Dear Me!!
I went to a CD music store yesterday, and they had a going out of business sale. But I felt like it was kinda rowdy in there, with all the noise and confusion one might find at a party, but the opposite sex was the opposite of sexy. haha
Yeah, you had to be there, and I'll research this but I think the music being played there was something, though I don't know what it was, maybe hip-hop music. (short time interval between piecing this together) Just a few minutes ago, I listened to a some hip-hop song samples and it was good so now I'm not sure if what I heard at the CD music store was hip hop after all. Maybe I was in The Twilight Zone or better yet Doctor Who -- how I wish! By the way, I am available if they change actors playing the doctor again.
Alright, it's true, I've been known to be behind the times, still using phone booths or pay phones, just because. I also remember not having an answering machine until people told me to get one, for years. Then I got a bunch of messages for the wrong me, well I mean guys with my name, perhaps from a parallel universe, some Scott who actually had a good job and was loved. Job uh job?, what's a ja-ja-ja-ja job... oh forget it, that isn't a very good dance song. I love Madonna, but Lady Gaga is hmmm... let me get back to you on that one.
I was very distracted Saturday by so many people in the store, so I'll have to think more about what CD I want to buy next. I did buy some CDs this year and I'm still behind and haven't listened to all of the CDs because I'm spending my time in a fairness loop, in other words my fairness in music listening keeps repeating over and over and over, giving as many as possible the chance to get in my list of 100 Best Rock Songs. I'm serious about it and I'm a good guy.

You can read
where I went to drink this shake. Also, please see the post below. I gave my lips a workout trying to suck the shake through the straw. While I know I can't beat the hot dog guy in that contest (or shall we say modern sport), maybe this is my natural event. Drinking very thick shake with a straw (careful, I'm joking, and if you are too young to understand joking around, please leave). I don't think I'd win, but I do suck. Actually I should have used the plastic spoon, but I didn't want to spill shake on my jeans. See ladies, I do care about my clothes. Ask me out on a date! joking

A fun Shake
This is a very thick Oreo Cookie Shake from Jack in the Box. It's one of their "Real Ice Cream Shakes" and has whipped topping and a cherry on top. Yum! Like I said, it's thick and takes some time to go through the straw. But I'm patient with shakes. I'm still finishing this shake about three hours later (as I type), but I ate Chinese food about two-thirds the way through drinking the shake. If you didn't know this already, my eating sometimes can be sort of strange but I'm not married so I don't have a wife to get mad at me. Though I suppose that would be fun. haha

If you're a minor go away, if you're a 'miner', or anyone else, you are welcome.
Maid New Year's Resolution
It's a new year
i didn't yet drink the beer
still in the refrigerator
oh no, what rhymes with refrigerator?
alligator?
now i realize from deep inside of me
that i wasn't meant to write prosetry
tho in the year '10 i did see alligator
the word that is, on one fast food sign
and like the great ones said many times
look for the signs
in these end times? no way
please no, please no
don't let it end now
i only want to go
somewhere with a beach
where girls in bikinis are within reach
that's only an expression
i just mean near enough to ask on a date
i'm lonely, not really, but it fits
into this, whatever this is
i know this sounds strange
but like most of the time
i don't drink beer to write this blog
just use my brain
because i have one and it works
despite what some people, whose own
brains may be in question, may think of me
back to not drinking, that's alright with me
however, i would like to go on a cruise
not with Penelope and Tom (they are cool though)
but my choice is umm let me think a minute
in this (My) fantasy, hmm how about Yuko Ogura
but only if she brings the maid costume
because for a long time i thought taking a maid
on a cruise would be a lot of fun
and while the character Alice from The Brady Bunch
seems like the illogical but funny choice
i do favor a Japanese idol for various reasons
and since i don't know who reads this
whatever it is, i'll keep my feelings
for the Japanese super-maid as vague as possible
however, let me think again...
okay, okay, she can wear whatever she wants
and i just ran out of words
aren't you lucky
Yes, I'm a nice guy so I'll stop this nonsense immediately.
There will be more nonsense at another time, but not this
exact nonsense.
Anyway, this was for a reason. And I'll explain why later.
Bye.

Is that a Vulcan wave?
No, it was very human. But I was tired and felt like I'd traveled backwards in time from a distant planet to Earth, Our-date was September, 2010 and while it clearly was a fascinating experience, as I recall I had a headache and perhaps my thinking was quite illogical. So I asked Mom if she wanted to go to McDonald's, and we did.
Q: Am I really here?
A: Yes. At least I think so. But not *HERE* here (because while I'm not too big to be a blogger, I am too big to fit in a blog -- that really would be 'self published'-- although I do wait to see if the people who brought us modern pop can shrink me down enough to understand and accept it), but since it's almost 2011 and people wonder about what's next for me, I'll give a very human answer, and simply say "I don't know."
Do you know? Well, I don't mean do you know what's next for me. That would be cool though, but don't tell me unless it's something good... like you are a beautiful ex-maid, no wait I mean a former Japanese idol (you know, like retired at 25) who likes to wear a maid's costume, and you want to go on vacation to a tropical paradise with me. Of course I'm joking, but that does sound rather err... worthwhile. haha

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
I wish you all the best in 2011, including but not limited to good friendships, much love, excellent health, a lot of success and happiness.

Q: Do you ever eat cereal with milk?
A. Yes.
This is a picture from... oh, maybe 20 minutes ago. It's 100% lactose free milk because I don't want to feel like a 100% giant balloon in Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. And not just because the parade is over for the year. Like, I don't wanna hear umm some lady saying, "Hey kids, look at the bloated man balloon." I want to start the new year off on the ground.
Another time, actually many times I went looking for McDonald's this year, and found it
I know what it may seem like from the picture, but McDonald's and the Golden Arches most likely don't have special powers to transport themselves into outer space. But if I ever go beyond this planet, I do hope that McDonald's is there too.
Q: Would they serve regional cuisine of Pluto?
A: Is it a giant rock or a planet?
Some dude reading this is like: That A should have been: What do cartoon dogs eat?
My Q to that A: Dude, what?!
When asking, Does he ever do anything for anyone?
Just remember the Q & A (last post, below) was brought to you by Me.

Hostess Holiday Fruitcake
Totally hot, and cold too
The Oh-No's, Decade of Wienners remembered
There were lots of wienners -- not winners -- in the '00s decade.
This really is fitting, and that's because of all the 'wienners' in the '00s decade, which I'm affectionately calling the 'Oh-No's' in this pOHst. Just remember, don't blame us regular folks because we're way cool, right?! And, what's more, we weren't the ones who caused the big problems on the planet. I decided I'm not going to write about much about unsavory bad stuff in the world because that's no fun! All I know is that a number of professional baseball home run hitters, some business leaders, and as we have become accustomed to many political leaders were wienners, not winners in the Oh-No's. They tried to make us all want to believe in becoming a 'winner' but they showed us that many winners aren't really that at all.
This isn't a real commentary, but it's not a fake one either. I don't want to get too serious and ruin my reputation for goofing off, which is what I like to do when hanging out and eating fast food.
Note: I guess wieners is how most people spell it but in this case I want it to be 'wienners' to say they weren't real winners because of them telling lies and cheating. I hope those we admire and look up to will do better.

Please check out my music blog. I chose to call it The Overcast Inside. Maybe the name "The Overcast Inside" sounds like it could be a very strange and long song or medley with an interesting mixture of grunge and progressive rock, and that's just fine with me.
I like to think of it as a nice place where everyone can hang out. But nobody has to know your name. I think that was on the sitcom Cheers where they all knew their names or something like that but I'm not sure about the customers who left at closing time. Maybe they forgot the names, or just mispronounced them.
Also, what about all the extras, you know the ones just seated at tables, those actors who didn't have any (or not many) lines. I mean, did they know all the names too? I think I missed that episode where Cliff and Norm (two cool guys, I mean TV sitcom characters) went around the bar and named every one. I mean did they go up to each and every person, and say out loud the actors names and their characters names. I think that would have been a classic episode.
Maybe it happened, but I don't recall seeing that one. Perhaps it was two episodes, because to please me they would have to get every name right. All I remember that was significant to me about that TV show was when the series ended, the girl I used to talk with on the phone in the evening who told me she had to get off the phone to watch the sitcom, wound up marrying someone else. That was later, well not later that evening but you know what I am saying. That was fine with me. I guess I'm just not funny enough though I'll survive it. I can't compare with the legends, but I do know there's hope, out there somewhere, wait I think it's truth not hope that's out there. But there wasn't too much truth in the '00s decade. I'll try to give it some more thought-- not too much thought-- and post something on this subject.

Do I have any special Christmas traditions?
That I came up with just to keep boredom away from me? Well, I really ought to because I get bored sometimes. But actually it's more like me being discouraged because of change. Now don't get me wrong, I'd like change if the change was what I wanted it to be. Usually change is bad because it means losing old relationships (not sexual ones, I don't talk about sex here LOL) and losing friends and needing to find new friends, or fantasies that my friends all wear the newest bikini (well, actually each one has a bikini) and they nice long (or short) pretty hair. And they don't read what I write about fast food, or at least they don't get too encouraged to eat too much food because it's almost Spring. No, there's been snow for more than a month, but it's just barely winter, and by barely, I wasn't making any subtle references to really anything. What I was getting to is, I don't mind the new fashions. I mean, have you been watching the Lady Gaga videos. If not, then I guess I've found the one person who didn't yet. Okay, now (10 minutes later) you have, but I'm not a Lady Gaga promoter. I prefer Madonna and she's still hot and all! But that has nothing to do with whether I have special Christmas traditions to avoid boredom. Well, I try to eat some new foods now and then and sometimes it happens around Christmas! I know that's not very sexy, but this is a food blog, of course with the kinds of things you might here guys talking about if you really wanted to hear guys talking, for example when they are eating fast food, but maybe it's best that you don't listen to such talk. Oh, you already read my blog from start to finish, alright then stick around. Thanks for swinging by. I meant that in a very moral, upstanding way.
Because I said
Guess what I put in the Halo-Halo, this close-up shot is better. Although some the dessert is difficult to see without special halo-halo glasses which would also help people at church potlucks, to know ahead of time what is in "THIS", as in when a nice, sweet, little old lady asks you, honey would you like some of THIS!. If you have the glasses on, then you might make a more informed decision. Sorry, I haven't invented those glasses yet. I should fit being an inventor into my schedule because I want to go back to potlucks. There could be some hot chicks at those potlucks, but more likely I would find fried chicken from KFC, or somewhere else, and that's almost as good as going to a bikini beach. Well no, nothing is that good.
Halwa-Halo, or Halo-Halo plus
I added two large spoonfuls of my improvised halwa, which I made to taste a little sweet but more salty because I like the way it tastes with sweet ice cream. Try to figure out the other ingredients I put in this halo-halo dessert. I just finished eating about an hour ago and now it's almost midnight. Hmm...what should I eat next? No, I think I'll stop for now. But I look forward to later!

The moon wasn't as
funny as I thought it would be. Well no, actually I knew it wouldn't be funny, nor was it supposed to be. However, I am not an astronomer, a scienist, nor am I a sci-fientist. Better to be a scottist. So then, if you really think it's a good idea?! (well, it ain't), but you can still be like me, although I wouldn't, if I were you that is, but I'm me, so that's why I wanna be like me. Gosh, that was hard to explain. Anyway, don't be like me, but if you wanna be me late at night, when nobody is around and they can't see you being like me, then go outside on a dark, cold night/early morning set the digital camera to video, point it up and start videotaping the starlit sky, and of course narrate what you are seeing up there. Maybe the neighbors will shoot off fireworks, and you might here creepy sounds coming from the garage, and start wondering whether space aliens are videotaping you, trying to videotape them in their flying saucer. One of them could even come up, tap you on the shoulder, and ask you to dance. Just don't look at Mr. Alien the way some girls used to look at me when I walked around the dance floor asking a pretty girl to dance. My guess is you don't want to reject them. And their camera has some other settings, and you never know what they might do once they learn how to blog. Yeah, like umm... imagination required.
NotE: This was before and on the way to the full eclipse and I was full of it. By it, I don't don't mean anything bad. Just like to joke around a lot.

Quite simply one of the best milk shakes
I like this shake flavor. This is a large Bubblegum Milk Shake from Wheeler's Handout in Nampa, Idaho. It was $3.70 but it's a thick shake and gives me some extended happiness of more than a hour.
Tuesday, I ordered this milk shake again (not pictured, and the photo is from about a week earlier), then we drove to Macy's department store to do Christmas shopping, though we were looking to get some ideas, and when I got tired I came out to the vehicle and drank more of the shake. I will have more on this shake another time.
